This weekend are special reporter/scientist prof. Goldilocks went out in to the wild. When she was walking she stumbled upon a little cottage. She politely knocked and then walked inside and explored. Prof.Goldilocks walked into the kitchen and saw three bowls of porridge on the table in the kitchen. Then she got an idea to test the porridge to see what one they ate most. She got her clipboard out of her bag, the first thing she wrote down was an observation (something you sense.) thing she saw there is steam coming up from one and that there are three bowls. She inferred (something you think will happen.)that that maybe some of the porridge would be cold because there was not any steam coming up. Then she noticed the Independent Variable, the IV, or something you will change in the experiment and that was the temperature of the porridge. Along with the IV you have to have IV levels (IV levels like what type of light will make the plant grow faster the IV levels would be like CFL's, reagular or a blue one.) so Prof.Goldlocks found them out by sticking her finger into the bowls. The first one the temperature was zero degrees. The second one was 100 degrees she yelled owwwww . Then the last one was perfect temperature 65 dregress. You need to have a Dependent Variable, the DV, or what you measure in the experiment, and thet was the amount of porridge eaten. The Units of measurement(what you are measuring in.) was in the number of spoonfulseaten. The two things Prof.Goldilocks made stayed the same or, constant (something you keep the same.) was the amount of porridge in the bowls. The second as the size of bowl. Then she wrote down the purpose (your reason for the lab ) and it was, The purpose of this investigation is to determine the effect of the temperature of the porridge on the amount of porridge eaten. Then just after she put away her clipbord the three bears walked in and she ran out the back door . Well that does it for today see you next time on Science News News Reporting for prof.Goldilocks this is Jamie see you next time.
